Urban Landscape pArt 2
Editing. It helped me make my picture better, make it have more of an impact...bump it up a notch. With the help of picnik.com, I have a picture that I feel fits perfectly with the theme of "Urban Landscape".
To bring the focus in on the cans, I cropped the picture and then used auto-fix to adjust the exposure, keeping the word "Toledo" in focus on the recycle can on the right and on the building in the background on the left. Still not happy with the sharpness and clarity, I adjusted those further and also increased the shadows. The entire picture was made black and white and to create a further focus on the recycle can, the brush effect was used with the color green.
Lines were added with the "waterfall" effect and faded. I increased the white threshold and decreased the black threshold to get more of a grainy look.
There is a positive and distinctive difference from the original picture. I feel it helps to reinforce the idea of "Urban Landscape".
